Ever met a girl and thought she was sweet until she started acting up and you begin to realize “This bitch might be crazy!” Well heres The Top 10 Crazy women in Film! Starting with 2002, the year Pink got the party started, found out Dark Vader’s biggest pet peeve and Kelly was texting Nelly through Excel (yeah the 2000’s were great), we were presented with the teen psychological thriller “Swimfan”. The character Madison Bell should scare any man from smashing any woman without doing a background check. Even Charlamagne tha god would stay away from this white girl.
If Madison didn’t scare you, Cruella De ville sure will in Fatal Attraction. Glenn Close plays Alexandra in the 1987 thriller. She’s after a dog in this film but we’re not talking about Dalmatians. She doesn’t get her dog but she defiantly caught a bunny. She taught me the meaning of stranger danger! But you don’t have to sleep with a woman to drive her crazy...
Okay but what if you was never inside her? How do you deal with a crazy girl in your workplace like in the 2009 thriller “Obsessed”? Ali Larter plays Lisa, a crazy woman who tries to Bill Cosby and Christopher Columbus Beyonce’s Bae but the Queen Bee showed her who’s really crazy in love! Okay, so we know not to get flirty with our co workers but what if you never met her? What if she was your biggest fan and she rescued you during a blizzard? Would you beat? You would? Wrong Answer!
Meet Annie played by Kathy Bates in 1987’s Misery, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. Annie rescues a best selling author and holds him hostage, having him only writing for her. Most people just accept a selfie. She wanted more than a piece of him. She went Kunte Kinte on James Cann.
Alright So we gonna keep ourselves at home. We got our girl, we got the internet, we just got to watch out for our neighbor like Adrian foster in 1993’s “The Crush”. Here’s a scary thought, did you know this was inspired by true events? They changed the name from Darian to Adrian after the real girl sued him. I would of changed the name from jump street, dont want no crazy chick after me.
But what if you was looking for a killer and the crazy girl was the main suspect? Basic instinct was notorious for Sharon stone showing her kitty cat. Sometimes crazy can be sexy but there’s nothing sexy about getting stabbed with an ice pick. Mama always told me, be careful what you do. Don’t go around breaking girl’s heart.. or what that Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.
Well if I didn’t learn it from this song, I learned in this film. Lynn Whitfield plays Brandi in the 1996 dark comedy romance “A thin line between love and hate” and she teaches you to never do two things. Never tell a woman you love her if you don’t and if you put your hands on a black woman, prepare for the worse... but what if you don’t play with her emotions. What if she plays with yours?
If any film teaches you that you dont know whats going on in a girls mind, its defiantly this one. Rooney Mara plays Emily, a woman who tries to kill herself after her husband is arrested in the 2013 thriller Side Effects. Her doctor puts her on new medication which seems to work until she starts to sleep walk due to her side effects which leads to her killing her husband. Shorty was popping pills and Im not talking Mollys. This film makes you question if she’s crazy, if its the pills or if all woman look for sneaky ways to kill their man. Trust nobody!
And the winner for craziest woman on film goes to... Rosamund Pike as Amy in the 2014 adaption of “Gone Girl”. In this psychological thriller, the mystery following Amy’s husband who comes the primary suspect in her sudden disappearance. I’ll try not to spoil the whole film but this film shows how mean, manipulative, angry, bitter, jealous or just plan outrageous a crazy person could be. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and apparently no logic or morals either. There’s no way you can look at your woman the same way after this film. This is an ID discovery murder mystery gone rouge.
