So Im in this program called “Jamaica FEAST” and its teaching us how to start and manage our food business. One of our “homework” was to look up trends that are going on in the food business. One thing that came up quickly was food trucks! They are the fastest-growing business in the food service industry. In 2012, food truck revenue was $650 million, however that number grew since then. Today, food truck revenue has hit Marvel Avengers Numbers. Im talking about Fast and the furious numbers. $2.7 billion!!!

As a first-time entrepreneur, a food truck sounds much more affordable option than an actual restaurant. For less than $100,000, I can launch a food truck business that can make anywhere between $250,000 to $500,000. Another reason its so attractive is because of its Flexibility, diversity and communication as well as the the ability to quickly and easily test new concepts, menu items and recipes. and I can also cater to various tastes in different locations.
