Equalizer 2

So last week I saw Denzel Washington in #Equalizer2 and OMG! This man is a masterclass when it comes to acting. What could of been a generic formula for action movie, Denzel made it feel real. As a dramatic actor, he finds away for you to feel for his character in ways The Rock couldn’t even convince me in films like Skyscraper. This film really reminded me why I make films. There’s a scene when Denzel goes to the “trap” and literally drag this dude out the hood! The scene was so powerful, so motivational, I was literally in tears ?. I didn’t expect such a dramatic scene in an action movie. Every black boy in the hood gonna wish Denzel would come rescue them out the trap house! It was also refreshing because I never seen a film where Denzel actually helped the hood compared to Training day where he helped terrorize it. It starts off slow and the earlier scenes is back to back episode of the original series in a modern light but when the plot starts picking up (even tho it’s predictable), it’s def worth watching. I had a great time.
