Star Wars The Force Awaken Reviews

I have 2 videos and a vlog for you guys. 1 with spoilers (below), one without (on the right). The vlog is more about the cross promotional side of the force awakens and the products Disney got to licenses the film and the other videos are the actual reviews of the film.
For three years I've been waiting for this film! Maybe even longer subconsciously. I was dating someone the day I heard the news that George Lucas sold the rights to Disney for 4 Billion dollars and that same day I broke up with her because I realize I was wasting time not working on my media empire while people are selling their stories for 4 billion dollars (true story). Finally the film has arrived and its everything I was hoping for.

(No spoilers here in the written review) SO THE STORY Begins with the title crawl (or course). Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister FIRST ORDER has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until Skywalker, the last Jedi, has been destroyed. With the support of the REPUBLIC, General Leia Organa leads a brave RESISTANCE. She is desperate to find her brother Luke and gain his help in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy. Leia has sent her most daring pilot on a secret mission to Jakku, where an old ally has discovered a clue to Luke's whereabouts....
Approximately thirty years after the destruction of the second Death Star, Luke Skywalker, the last surviving Jedi, has disappeared. Both the First Order, a successor to the fallen Galactic Empire, and the Resistance, a military force backed by the Republic and led by Luke's twin sister, General Leia Organa, scour the galaxy in an attempt to find him.

In a village on the planet Jakku, Resistance pilot Poe Dameron meets with village elder Lor San Tekka to obtain a map with coordinates to Luke's location. Stormtroopers under the command of the mysterious Kylo Ren infiltrate and destroy the village, before capturing Poe. His droid, BB-8, escapes with the map hidden in his memory and comes across a scavenger named Rey at a junkyard settlement.
After Ren uses the Force on Poe to learn about BB-8, Stormtrooper FN-2187 defects and helps Poe escape. Their stolen TIE fighter crashes on Jakku, and the stormtrooper, dubbed "Finn" by Dameron, appears to be the only survivor. He encounters Rey and BB-8, and says that he is part of the Resistance. The First Order tracks Finn to the settlement and launches an airstrike, forcing Rey, Finn, and BB-8 to steal a run-down ship, the Millennium Falcon, and flee the planet.

The Falcon breaks down and leaves them stranded, and they are soon found by Han Solo and Chewbacca. Han explains that Luke disappeared after an apprentice of his turned to the dark side and became Kylo Ren, destroying all that Luke had built and together they fly through a galaxy far, far a way to find the missing Jedi.
I absolutely love this film!! For the first time ever I got to see a Star War film where the lead LOOKED LIKE ME! Sure there was black folks in star wars before (like 2 people) but never were they one of the MAIN leads. Growing up as a Christian, they frowned on things like this. Since Star Wars is filled with Hypnosis, mesmerism, bewitchment, mind control, ESP with clairvoyance, telepathy, fortune telling, psychic powers, telekinesis, levitation, spiritualism, mediumship with apparitions/necromancy (talking to dead people), they considered this series the work of Satan because its all occult teaching and witchcraft set in space.

But all that aside (not thinking of the mind control and propaganda), I feel that I got my $17 dollars worth. I was highly entertained. The visual effects was on point, I love the acting between the cast especially between Poe and Finn, they deserve a buddy action film that Disney didn't deliver in this film (but hopefully in the sequel). I can't think of a single moment I hated in this film. Im not going to say its perfect. Sometimes it was hard to focus during the fast scenes (caused the 3D to blur at times)but besides that I still can't tell you anything I didn't like in this film (well, not without spoiling the film). Everything I saw in this film was everything I hoped for and more. It delivered 110% and I plan on seeing it again.
