So Saturday I went to go see the new #Whitney documentary with my childhood best friend (I think the first time I saw Whitney Houston was at her crib watching waiting to exhale and couldn’t even spell it) and YOOoooo, when I say this documentary was beautiful, revealing, emotional, shocking, thought provoking, I never cried in at the movie theaters before this. If you don’t shed a tear watching this documentary, you don’t have a heart. The editing is out of control, who ever edited this needs an award. I didn’t know much about Whitney growing up. My mom played her music, I saw her on TV when Bobby and Whitney was still on the bravo network (y’all remember Being Bobby Brown?) and of course the countless jokes people made about them but this documentary showed me a different side of Whitney. I never seen a documentary so intimate. It’s def worth seeing in theaters, even if you’re not a #whitneyhouston fan! If you’re an #entertainer, an #artist, a #musician, this is a must see.
