AFTER YEARS OF WAITING, THE DEADPOOL FILM HAS FINALLY ARRIVED... and It was too much of what I expected. The usual origin story formula with a bit of raunchy jokes and satire.
Deadpool is a fictional antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by artist/writer Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, the character first appeared in The New Mutants #98. The film follows Wade Wilson who, after being subjected to an experiment that leaves him with new abilities, hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. It is the eighth installment in the X-Men film series. The film is directed by Tim Miller, with a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, and Leslie Uggams.
That being said, I honestly feel there's someone at Marvel ruining the films of their characters thats not apart of the Disney/Marvel cinematic universe. I could be wrong but lets check the track record. Outside of the Disney/Marvel films, where did your last favorite Marvel film come from (studio wise). Im going to guess you're going to say what I said.. one of the many disney production. If Disney MCU is being high on drugs, the Deadpool film is like going through withdrawal. We seen all the cool stuff in the trailer and the stuff we didn't see in the trailer, we've seen it before or similar things in other super hero films.
I saw the film with one of my best friends and I still felt lonely.. like this film is a pure date film. Like netflix and chill. Like If you plan on getting some action, this is the film you should (think about) seeing. This movie is what guys wanted last year when 50 shades of grey dropped. Their relationship in the film is purely right out of hollywood (and if you found a girl who's as cool as Wade's, point out where they at cause Im not finding them in New York). Overall the film is an 8 out of 10. Only because it fixed the damage of Wolverine origins but it feels too much like a cheap spin off (like how S.H.I.E.L.D is to the Avengers).
